YABco's Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Yellow Apron Baking Co.'s baked treats so special?

Yellow Apron Baking Co., we believe great treats start with great ingredients-and a whole lot of heart. We use high-quality, real ingredients (no weird stuff!) to bake nostalgic flavor-packed sweets that feel like home. From classic favorites to one-of-a-kind creations, every bite is thoughtfully made to spark joy and sweeten your day.

Where are you located?

We currently rent space in a shared kitchen in Pearland, TX. You can find us at farmers markets and events in the area, and we are always available by phone or email. We also have a small bakery corner inside La Casita Mexican Restaurant with a rotating weekly menu where you can grab your favorite cookies.

What is the best way to find your next pop up location?

You can always give us a ring or send us a message (832.895.9226), or follow along with us on Facebook & Instagram. We'll also always share any upcoming plans in our newsletter.

What are your accepted payment methods?

We currently accept all major credit cards and cash.

Do you deliver?

Yes, we offer delivery based on your location. Someone must be present to accept the delivery. If no one is present, re-delivery arrangements must be made and an additional delivery fee may be charged. Please contact us for more information.

Do you ship?

We're working on getting our shipping options setup so that we can spread Yellow Apron Baking Co. joy across the US!

Can I order a party tray or assortment?

Of course! This is a great way to offer a variety of treats at your event. Cookies, bites, and truffles may be ordered as part of a dessert tray. We also offer full dessert table spreads. Give us a call for more information!

How far in advance should I place my order?

The earlier the better! To guarantee availability and the ability to give your order the love it requires, we do ask for a minimum 5 day notice for all orders. We know that life likes to throw unexpected cookie emergencies your way from time to time, so please do not hesitate to contact us. We will do our best to add your order to our schedule.

Is there a minimum order amount?

We ask that flavors be ordered in amounts of one dozen or more. A deposit may be required for some orders which will be discussed at the time the order is placed.

How can I place an order?

You can place your order on our website or shoot an email over to sweet@yellowapronbakingcotx.com. Please be sure to include your event date in your email. Please be aware that your order will not be finalized and added to our calendar until we have sent over an invoice for final approval. You may also visit us at any events or markets which we attend. We would be happy to help you with your order there while you enjoy time with local vendors and artists!

What is your order change or cancellation policy?

We will do our best to accommodate all order change requests whenever possible. Please email the request to sweet@yellowapronbakingcotx.com. We will confirm all changes with both a phone call and an email.

If you must cancel an order, please let us know as soon as possible. We request at least a 72-hour notice for all cancellations. Because of costs associated with purchasing and preparing needed items for your order, Yellow Apron Baking Company reserves the right to charge a 25% cancellation fee if sufficient time is not given as stated above.

How long do your products last?

We make everything to order, from scratch, and do not use any type of preservatives in our baked goods. Our baked goods are best enjoyed on the day received. If you must store them overnight, leave cupcakes, muffins, cookies, and brownies in the bakery box at room temp and wrap the box tightly in plastic. Cakes covered in buttercream should be refrigerated if not enjoyed the same day. Be sure to give the cake time (about 4 hours) to return to room temp before serving.

If you'd like to extend their shelf life, you can freeze our cookies wrapped tightly in an airtight container for up to three months. Keep cookies wrapped tightly as you thaw them to prevent condensation.

Do you offer anything that is nut or dairy free?

We currently bake in a shared kitchen which is not an allergen free environment. While we may offer some baked goods which do not contain some or any of these allergens, all items are prepared in an environment where these allergens may be present. For this reason, we would not recommend trying our products if you are allergic to wheat, nuts, dairy, or other known allergens as we are not able to promise an allergen-free product.

Do you offer gluten-free goods?

While we offer a few flourless cake and cookie options - or those made with alternative flours (almond, oat, etc. - noted as such on our menu), we cannot guarantee an allergen-free product.

What about sugar-free items?

We do offer some items which are made using natural sugar alternatives like local honey, maple syrup, or monk fruit sweetener and will be noted on our menu.

Do you offer any items not listed on your menu?

We offer seasonal items throughout the year! We love trying new recipes and may add items we think you may love. Be sure to follow along with us on Facebook, Instagram, or through our newsletter to find out about upcoming treats!
